Welcome.

This website has been created to introduce myself, Stephen Chiarelli, to you, hopefully a reader looking for a different kind of story from a new author.

Recently I published my first novel, The Connected. By clicking on the preceding link you will be taken to the page I have created specifically for the book where you can read an excerpt and purchase it if you wish.

The story deals with how one individual becomes aware of a truth and must cope with narrow-minded people when he tries to show the world that their religious ideologies are wrong. You could call it science fiction with philosophical underpinnings. You can find out more on the link above.

Currently I’m working on my second novel, more of a character study with some paranormal happenings.

That’s mainly what interests me, something that opens up my eyes and allows me to study how different characters might react to extra-ordinary events that happen in their life. I enjoy watching the story develop as I’m writing it.
