I have lived my whole life in Ontario, Canada. I was born in North Bay, grew up mostly in Kitchener via St. Catharines, Cornwall and Burlington. Today I make my home in the Niagara Region with my wife Cheryl. A major impact to my life was the death of my father early in my childhood. That necessitated our move to Kitchener and put me into a bit of a shell. One of my main escapes as a child was my fantasy hockey league I created. I was everybody in this twelve team league; managers, coaches and players. All my players names were pulled randomly out of a World Almanac. I’m sure I drove the neighbors nuts pounding the tennis ball against the back of the carport day and night. Eventually I outgrew those boyhood dreams and got into the usual teenage nightmares. From there I got a job, sold my soul to the devil, went to hell, escaped and landed in Niagara. Lots of fodder for many a story. I have been married to my lovely wife Cheryl for five years and we live with one angel-cat and one devil-cat. I had dabbled in story writing over the last fifteen years but didn’t take myself seriously until the last three. Since then I have written several short stories, some that are available under the Short Stories tab, one novel—The Connected—and have just started on a second novel. Hope you enjoy them.
